The Science Beneath Scalp Rejuvenation

The regenerative formulation at the centre of our scalp rejuvenation programmes is built around a botanical exosome complex — microscopic cellular messengers derived from rose stem cells and delivered into the scalp via advanced microneedling.

Plant Based Exosomes

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles — the communication structures that cells use to exchange biological information. Those derived from rose stem cell cultures carry specific molecular cargo including peptides, growth factors, and lipids associated with cellular repair and regeneration. Delivered beneath the surface layer of the scalp via microneedling, they reach the tissue where follicular activity takes place.

45 Active Ingredients

The formulation combines the exosome complex with over 45 active ingredients, including ten growth factors, biotin, copper tripeptide, and thirty hair and scalp-supporting nutrients. This multi-component structure is designed to work across several biological layers simultaneously — supporting the environment in which hair follicles operate, addressing the nutritional and signalling conditions around the follicle, and encouraging a healthy hair cycle.

The inclusion of biotin and copper tripeptide alongside the growth factor complex directly addresses the nutritional and structural environment around the follicle. Biotin is one of the most well-characterised nutrients in hair biology. Copper tripeptide carries a published evidence base for supporting scalp tissue regeneration and follicular signalling.

Why Microneedling Matters

A regenerative formulation is only as effective as its ability to reach the tissue where it can act. This is where microneedling becomes essential.

The outer layer of the scalp is a barrier. It is designed to keep things out — which is exactly what makes topical scalp products so limited. Applied to the surface, even the most sophisticated formulation struggles to penetrate beyond the uppermost layer of skin, leaving the active ingredients sitting where they can do little.

Microneedling solves this. By creating thousands of microscopic channels in the scalp, it opens a direct route for the regenerative formulation to reach the deeper layers where hair follicles operate. The formulation is delivered precisely where it is intended to work, rather than resting on the surface.

There is a second benefit. The microneedling process itself stimulates the scalp's natural repair response — a controlled activation that supports the very environment the formulation is designed to enhance. The two work together: the needling prepares and activates the tissue, the formulation delivers the active ingredients into it.

This is why we never apply our formulations topically alone. Delivery is not a detail. It is central to the result. As with all cosmetic treatments, individual responses vary and results are not guaranteed. A personalised consultation precedes every programme.
